Introduction

Jahmel Samuels gained respect as one of the top skill developmental coaches in the New York area developing talent at the Middle School level through Varsity levels. Coach Samuels took on the challenge of learning and getting better at his craft he was recruited by Five Star Basketball Camp at the time named the best camp in the country for serious ball players. At five-star coach Samuels became on the bright new minds that was hand picked by owner Mr. Howard Garfinkel. He would learn from some of the legendary coaches in the game and become one of the best coaches in the country. Coach Samuels has been blessed to work with many NBA & WNBA Players along his coaching career.

Coach Samuels founded the Capital Region Basketball Boot-Camps in 2013 which was hosted at The Sage College Of Albany. The camp was designed to teach the fundamentals and skill development to all boys and girls in the capitol Region. The camp has grown to Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Houston. What started as a training/workout session morphed into a boys and girls camp that helps players of all age levels to get better. Coach Samuels and his staff have worked with over 1,000 players during the summer and now during the fall and spring showcase camps. Many of the camps run through the spring, summer and fall

Jahmel Samuels Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York

Coach Samuels has made a name for himself in the coaching world. As one of the best in the country at developing talent and getting the most out of his players on and off the court. Growing up in the inner city of Brooklyn’s Bed-Stuy and FortGreene section of Brooklyn Coach Samuels developed a great part of the game as a player an now as one of the elite and Brillant minds in the game of basketball.
